Deco Vase in Coral
Reminiscent of an architectural structure, the coiled handles express motion frozen in time. Glazed in a satin coral, the vase is soft to the touch, made to be handled.
Wheel thrown from two sections and assembled to achieve the proper height and geometry. The handles are extruded coils and sculpted while quite wet to retain their shape and not crack. They are then carved to fit the forms perfectly and attached to dry very carefully over a 4-week period.
Dimensions: 16” tall x 14 1/2” wide (at the handles) x 5” diameter vase form
